About Me
Hi, I’m Michelle, a counsellor based in the West Midlands. My passion is counselling and supporting people along their personal journey. By forming a strong, trusting relationship with my clients, they feel supported, safe and empowered.
If we work together, I’ll be guided by you and what you want to achieve from counselling. Your goals will always be at the forefront of our sessions. Ultimately, you have that insight and I am here to support you and provide the tools to get to know yourself better, and work through any challenges you are facing.
I offer a wide range of services and am flexible in my approach (more on that below).

I am accredited with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society, and if you’d like to find out more about my qualifications and expertise, you can visit their website.

How I Work
I work with various theories, and the approaches that we choose will be based on what works best for you. Before using any theories, I will talk you through what’s involved to give you a better understanding of them. That way you can feel in control of your counselling journey.
Each session will be done at your pace, and you will never have to talk about anything you don’t wish to.
If you would like to talk in more detail about the theories and techniques I use, or my approach to counselling, drop me a message using the contact form below.

Support I offer
I provide a wide range of services, and fully appreciate that everyone is different, with different goals. You may already know what you would like to focus on, or perhaps you’re not sure where to start. Wherever you are in your journey, I can tailor my support to you, at your pace.
These are some of the common topics I cover:
-
Anxiety
-
Depression
-
Relationships
-
Grief and loss
-
Low self esteem
-
Life changes
-
Stress
Many of my clients have busy working lives and so I appreciate the need for sessions that work alongside a hectic diary. I have over a decade’s worth of experience in a fast-paced corporate job, and so fully understand the pressures and challenges that come with high-stress work environments.
Fees & Availability
My sessions last 50 minutes and cost £40 (per session).
I currently offer online sessions, but face-to-face sessions may be available on request (depending on location).
I offer a free initial phone call in which we’ll discuss the reasons you are considering counselling, whether it could be helpful for you, and whether I am the right therapist to help you.
Get in Touch
Drop me a message if you have any questions, or to arrange an initial phone call.
All enquiries are usually answered within 24 hours, and all contact we have will be strictly confidential.
If you’re experiencing an emergency
If you are worried about feelings you have, of wanting to commit suicide or to harm yourself or other, you should consider contacting your nearest hospital and ask to speak to someone from the crisis team.
If you need immediate assistance or support, I recommend contacting Samaritans. You can call them at any time of day on 116 123, email jo@samaritans.org, or use their online chat service.
